Newest Mobile Robot Technologies by Hahn Robotics : Feedback on PAE first virtual Technology Site Visit

On Thursday 15 April 2021, the PAE project partners organised the first Technology Site Visit with Hahn Robotics, a company located in Rheinböllen (Germany), specialised in the integration and programming of industrial robots, cobots and autonomous mobile robots.

The event was organised as a webinar with a virtual visit of the company.

Representatives from 8 French and 2 German companies participated as guests. In addition, a representative of the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economics also took part in the event.

Hahn Robotics presented the company and its product range in an impressively professional manner. The participants were ‘live’ guided  through the production halls at the Rheinböllen site via online video link. Several automation systems in various stages of construction were on display, for example: a pick & place system for hanging components in electroplating, which was developed and built for the customer Continental. Afterwards, the participants visited the sales branch of Hahn Robotics in Lüdenscheid. Here, various mobile robots for the transport of small load carriers (KLT) and pallets were demonstrated.

Areas of application (see illustration):

  • Supply and disposal production process/line (supermarket – automotive, injection moulding machine etc.)
  • Transport from/to/between production, assembly, packaging

According to the participants, the event was a success. Both the participants and Hahn Robotics are looking forward to future collaborations. We are committed to creating economic links between the participants and Hahn Robotics from this event and will actively promote these links.

To take this further, Hahn Robotics is organising a face-to-face event in Rheinböllen in autumn 2021. An experiment room recently built by Hahn Robotics will be presented and used.
